Blog Update - Fashion show and career

Hello again  ♪

Remember when I posted the WIP pic of the Roccoco dress I was working on?
Probably not. However I finished it in February/March and we had our school's fashion show in April.

I worked about 120 hours on the dress and spent about 300€ for the materials.
I used up about 20 meters of fabric! And I don't even wanna know how much lace. I'm really satisfied with the result though! ♪(ノ ´∀`*)ノ

In the first semester of this school year we worked on historical garments such as the Roccoco dress.
In the second semester we were being prepared for the Master Tailor's exam.
Summary: 2nd semester sucked and drained all my energy.

A whole semester of sewing the same stupid jacket over and over again for the same person so I'd fit like a glove when it gets serious. Didn't work out thaaaat well though. However I passed the practical and the oral Master Tailor's exam.

So now I am officially a MASTER TAILOR!! OMAGAAAWD! ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

My mom bought me that cute signboard. It says certified master tailor!

And no - my story's not over yet.

I applied at an art university for the subject Textile Arts and got invited to the entrance exam which lasted 3 days. I got accepted!! So that means I'll study Textile Arts and English as lectureship - studying to be a teacher so to speak.
Japanese wasn't available. D'oh. ( ; w;)ノ

Last but not least I set up a small online portfolio on deviantart.

Let me know if you like it!

Cheers,
