Yesterday was International Macaron Day,

so we had a small Lolita meet-up in Vienna.

We went to Café Süssi, which is really well known for it's desserts!

Sadly, they didn't have any macarons because macarons apparently are a seasonal dessert.

Never heard of that before, but yeah.

Now to the pictures!

Lolita meet-up and artsy stuff

Last Saturday there's been a local Lolita meet-up that I attended. We met up in front of the Volkstheater and took some pictures.

We had to wait ages for everyone to arrive. Of course I was there 10 minutes too early just to be sure. Haha~ However when everyone was there we took some more pictures and asked a passenger to take a group pic of us. After that we had dinner at an Austrian restaurant.

Later there would've been a concert of the band Lolita Komplex but I wasn't able to attend that sadly. But I heard there's gonna be another one in December so it's not that bad.

Since I didn't know what to wear I've sewn a frilly shirt the night before.

Excuse my derpy face. Here's what I wore:

I enjoy sewing rori-able stuff for myself! ♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

On Friday I went to a fabric store and bought lots of unnecessary stuff. As always.. ε-(´・｀) ﾌ

A lovely hot pink rep, a tiny white/peachy stripe and an old wooden spool of bordeaux yarn.

A soft, orange-y polka dot cotton, peachy lace trims and pearl buttons.

A light black white stripe, cotton lace trim and polyester lace.

As you can tell I'm slightly obsessed with lace.. (o*･ω･)ﾉ

I also promised to post more of the stuff I'm working on in school. For now all you get is the finished design. (ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

Gonna work with apricot-coloured brocade fabric, light rose-patterned organza and soft creamy grosgrain. And of course lots of lace, frills, bows and pearls! (ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

Next time I'll show you the almost-finished pannier underskirt!

Kamikaze Girls 7th Anniversary

Hello there!

Sorry for not updating frequently. School is kind of tiring and I'm quite busy with everything!

However last Sunday we had a local Lolita meet-up in Vienna! Because of the 7th Anniversary of the iconic Lolita movie Kamikaze Girls (Shimotsuma Monogatari; jap) on October 23rd, we rented a cinema to watch the movie together! ♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

It was really cool to see the movie on such a big screen and with a nice sound! We watched it in Japanese with German subtitles. However I'm also really fond of the soundtrack. I'd link you my favorite song on it but sadly it's not on youtube ♪

I can really recommend the movie to anyone who's into Lolita or Japanese fashion in general. It's really funny and entertaining and you get to see loads of cute Baby, the Stars Shine Bright dresses~

One of the Lolitas gave everyone a little bag with small cupcakes inside. Cute, innit?

After the movie we had dinner at a ramen restaurant. I had La Mien noodles with chicken and it was quite good! I had a great time chatting about Rorita stuffs and personal life. And the movie was awesome of course!

Oh and I got my hair cut! Finally a new hairstyle. I've been dying to get my hair cut. What do you think about it? (￣▽￣)ノ I kinda like it so far.

Catastrophes in Japan and Rosy Jewellry

Hello dear followers..
I'm completeley shocked by the catastrophes happening in Japan. I don't live in Japan but I know my heart and all my spirit is there right now. I feel so so sorry for everyone living in Japan at the moment. Especially in the troubled regions.. I don't want the most precious country in the world to lie in ruins and in radioactivity... I can't even concentrate on anything but the news. （。；_；。）
I wish every single person in Japan all the best!!

Anyways I took some pics of new jewellry I made. I needed some kind of distraction. I hope you don't mind..

I finally got around making some jewellry again. This series is inspired by roses and I made a necklace, two rings and a brooch. For the necklace I used a golden spoon that I decorated some time ago.

Cutesy Misako Aoki Clip!!

Hello again~

When I was browsing through my tumblr Dashboard, I came across a lovely YouTube clip featuring my beloved Lolita model - Misako Aoki! I just felt like I have to post it~
The clip includes a make-up tutorial by Namiki Akio, who's a leading expert of Lolita make-ups featured in Kera and so on. It also shows us what's important in a Lolita model's life! Misako also states that Harajuku is like the fashion-center of Tokyo! You should go there neatly dressed and maybe one of Kera's staff will ask you to be a model!

Black and White..

Hello~
Today I decided to take pics of my BJDs again.
I took photos of Rielle and Ayori. Rielle wore the same dress as on the last photo but I couldn't help it! I just love the dress to bits. （　´∀｀） Ayori went back to black again. When I got her she was wearing black wigs too. I don't know if I like her that much in black though.. She looks better in golden-brown-ish.

On the spotlight: Two-tone hairstyles

Bonjour my dear readers ♡~

Today, on the spotlight, are trendy two-tone hairstyles! It seems they are really popular with Gyaru and Lolita. Although it's been in for quite some time and is already getting old again. Trends come and go~

There are some really extreme examples of color mixtures. Though it seems like brown x blonde is one of the favored mixes. For OTT-Lolita it could be any color of the rainbow mixed with black, blonde or brown. But basically.. Any mix is possible! Two-tone hairstyles can either be acquired through wigs or hair dyeing.

There are also several western online shops where you can get two-tone wigs as many of the western Lolitas do. I personally prefer the dyed way.

So that's the main reason I'm posting this. I already have my appointment at the hair stylist's for tomorrow morning! My hair is a nice, dark, warm-ish brown at the moment and I'm going to get either blonde or light-brown highlights! I'm really excited~

Littlest shopping spree!

Hello my dear blog readers ﾐ☆

Winter break has ended and nothing much happened in the last few days.. I've been on a diet with my mom and stepdad for a bit longer than week now and I already lost 2,5 kilos! And the diet isn't even that hard because on the evening of the seventh day, you can eat whatever you want! So we decided to eat out in an asian all-you-can-eat restaurant! They had sushi, chinese duck and everything you can imagine~I'm not sure if it was a good idea to go there because I felt really guilty after being on a diet for almost a week and then eating as much as I could. Here's a photo of my appetizer!



I can tell you it was totally delicious though! So now I'm on my 2nd week of the diet. I have to lose weight until the 21st because my prom will be then. To be honest I'm getting a little nervous.．・ヾ（。＞＜）シAnyways~ I decided to put some of my X-mas money on my paypal account and buy some stuff!


Some friends of mine decided to order stuff from Clobbaonline and as I was looking for some shoes I decided to order some there too! They were around 60€ which is okay as I don't really fit any official asian shoes. Screw my big feet! Why the hell must my feet be 28 cm long. That's really depressing if you see the most amazing shoes and the sizes are only a size too small.. (/;°ロ°)/ I actually wanted to order Golf Tassel Rocking Horses but they just aren't available in my size.. So I got some regular black shoes which I will modify a bit with wood-structure foil. Hope it'll work out as I want it to. I might also add some tassels to them myself~



Another thing I ordered are circle lenses. I've been wanting those for ages~ ヾ(＾∇＾)
I orded Geo Tri Color's in grey! I'm afraid they'll take a while to arrive though..


In addition to the lenses I also wanted to try out BB-cream as I read nice articles and blog entries about it~ So I just got one off of evilbay. It was only about 12€ and shipping was free!
♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ My friend told me that Hong Ki, the singer of the K-Pop band F.T. Island advertised it!



And lastly I did an impulsive buy! (*´ο`*)=3 I bought some OTK socks in red from a swedish Indie Lolita label~ I really like the design!



So that's all for today! As you can see I spent quite some money! ε-(´・｀)

On the spotlight: Misako Aoki

Hello there!

I've been thinking a lot of what to blog about and I just couldn't really think of anything. I decided to add the feature "On the spotlight" to my blog. I will write about anything that I'm into including brands, models, persons, other blogs, tv-shows, music or just anything.

The first thing on the spotlight is the gorgeous Lolita model Misako Aoki!





Misako is a model for BABY, the stars shine bright, Algonquins, Putumayo and other well-known Lolita brands. Her favorite colour is pink and she's also working as a nurse. Misako was chosen as one of the Kawaii Ambassadors to represent Gothic Lolita outside of Japan. Therefore she visits a lot of conventions and is also featured in TV-shows like Kawaii Girl Japan.


What I really admire about Misako is that she's still herself and she doesn't need to cover herself in wigs or lots of make-up. She's such a natural and classic beauty! Misako is seen as one of the "old-school Lolitas". Her favorite brand is BABY, the stars shine bright, which she models a lot for. Misako doesn't wear Lolita 24/7 but she seems to have a weakness for other cute clothes. Another of her favorite brands is MILK. You can find Misako featured on street snaps in Kera quite often.




Misako can really pull of cute clothes I think! ☆ﾐ(o*･ω･)ﾉ



Another example of how classy she can be! She doesn't even need uber-decorated nails!~

Rori Rielle

Hello my dearest blog-readers! ♥
I'm sorry I didn't post in such a long time. I really felt guilty and was looking for stuff to post! Now I've got 2 quite interesting things I can post about!

I'll start with a BJD topic~

Recently, while browsing through my tumblr dashboard, I saw some really nice looking Lolita-ish dressed BJDs and I figured my BJDs don't even really have any Lolita clothes. Just Lolita-inspired ones~ As I have holidays now, Merry Christmas btw~, I took some time to sew a nice dress for Rielle. My intention was actually to sew a dress to try tea-dying but this experiment kinda failed. I tried to dye it with strawberry-vanilla-flavoured tea but all the colour faded away while drying..
Anyways here are the pictures:
